Scenario.
During a regular Customer Impact check-in, the Utopi Impact team spotted an overheated space in a PBSA asset via the Utopi Heatmap. The room was reaching 29.2°C with daily energy consumption of 19.1kWh, despite the resident having checked out a week earlier.
For perspective, saving that amount of energy could charge run an LED bulb constantly for over 5 years!
Results.
The site team was alerted and inspected the space. They discovered the heating had been left on via the resident app. Since the room was unoccupied, the team switched it off manually, the room dropped from 29.2 °C to 21.5 °C in just one day.
