Scenario.
Utopi were tasked with reducing the energy waste in a PBSA asset with a history of being overheated. Deploying the Utopi Smart Panel Heaters, it was an opportunity to reduce energy waster and enhance energy controls via The Utopi Platform.
Resolution.
Utopi installed Smart Panel Heaters in the full asset of over 350 rooms, exceptions were added via The Utopi Platform along with site max and min temperatures so the site team could manage any exceptions remotely, and the impact was almost immediate with a reduction in energy consumption showing in just 1 week.
With an annual saving of £130 per bed, across the full asset that could see a cost avoidance of £47,450.
Results.
Comparing energy consumption across the 2023 heating season versus the 2024 heating season, the results showcased the powerful impact of enhancing energy controls.
