Utopi has been ranked 9th in Scotland in the UK Fast Growth Index 2026, announced at the UK Fast Growth Index Awards at ICC Wales in Newport on 22 October 2026. Having been ranked three years in a row, Utopi was named a Sustainable Growth business and was on stage at the ceremony. The earlier rankings were 4th in Scotland in 2024 and, in 2025, second fastest growing company in Scotland and fastest growing Digital and Tech company in Scotland. It is certainly a proud moment for Utopi.
About the UK Fast Growth Index
The Index was founded by Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE and is sponsored by UBS. It identifies the fifty fastest growing businesses in each nation and region of the UK, and also recognises the fastest growing firms in each key sector. Together, this year’s 350 firms more than doubled in size in just two years, growing combined turnover from £4.3 billion to £10.2 billion and adding almost £6 billion to the UK economy.
Growth built from Scotland
Utopi is built from Scotland, with Glasgow as our base. Our overall ranking of 112th places us alongside the other Scottish firms on the Index, and it is great to see so many Scottish businesses growing at pace. In the 2024 Index, Utopi’s growth over the preceding three years stood at 338.4%. For 2026, the figure is 230.0%.
Growth in rooms and countries
Utopi covers 95,000 rooms across 13 countries, with 65Bn+ data points collected from PBSA and BTR assets. That growth began in the UK market and has extended further afield, with 10,000 European rooms connected.
