This week Team Utopi have been busy in Barcelona joining leaders in PBSA across the UK and Europe at The Class Foundation’s Smart Student Living event.
Smart Student Living is a non-sales event driven by collaborative workshops between operators and tech leaders. These workshops were interactive and focused on driving ESG, operational efficiency, and student well-being solutions.
Sessions were broken into four main areas of PBSA:
- Building – Sustainable Operations & Resource Efficiency
- Systems – ESG-Integrated Technology & Automations
- People – Student Well-Being & Inclusive Living Environments
- Investment – ESG and Value Reporting & Impact
Sustainability, Data and Unlocking Value
Leading session #2 of the day on ESG and Data, Utopi’s CMO and Co-Founder Ben led two workshops entitled ‘Sustainability, Data and Unlocking Value’.
Showcasing Utopi benchmarking data from our 22 billion strong environmental data lake, it was a chance to uncover resident heating behaviours, a chance to uncover overheating insights and craft ways to reduce energy waste in the sector.
