Scenario.
In March, data from the Utopi Multisensor flagged a temperature outlier on The Utopi Platform: one room sitting at 28.4°C – far above the expected level for the season. PIR motion data confirmed there had been no occupancy during this period. Despite this, heating was active, wasting both energy and money.
Results.
The Utopi Platform alerted the site team, who entered the room and switched off the heating, resulting in a temperature reduction of 11°C, from 28.4°C to an average of 17.4°C in just one week.
