[See above for a graph showing excessive energy consumption from overheating, and when site teams intervene, the temperature drops by 16°C.]
Scenario.
Using Utopi Multisensor data, alongside the heatmap in the Utopi platform, we helped a client see an unoccupied studio was reaching temperatures as high as 40°C.
Upon notifying the operator it was discovered that the radiator valves were damaged, and the radiator was not turning off when expected.
As the operator was alerted to the excessive temperature, they were able to send their site team to the room to manually adjust the faulty radiator and reduce the overall temperature by over 16°C.
Resolution.
Results? This action reduced the average studio temperature from 40°C to 24°C.
